Job Description
An opportunity has arisen within the Leeds offices of this reputable house-builder for a Technical Co-ordinator to join their Design Team.
Coming from either a proven Architectural or Engineering background you might be working either in Private Practice or Consultancy or currently working for another house-builder.
Your role will be to act as the Technical liaison both internally with the design, commercial and production departments as well as externally with Consultants and statutory bodies.
Example of day to day duties includes:
- Management and distribution to all relevant parties of production information such as construction drawings and site instructions.
- Liaison with all parties internally and externally assessing and resolving onsite queries and technical challenges / demands.
- Work in unison with internal departments including Estimating, Production and Design to ensure open lines of communication are achieved to create efficient flow of accurate information throughout all cycles of the planning, design and construction process.
Person Specification
You will have proven experience in the Residential Sector either working in Private Practice as a specialist Sub Consultant or already in a Co-ordinators role for another House-builder.
Applications are welcome from either Engineers or Architects/Architectural Technologists/Technicians.
