My Client is one of Ireland\’s leading Civil, Environmental and Structural Engineering Consultancies who have recently opened an office here in West Yorkshire.

They are an independently-owned firm, who employ a multidisciplinary team of more than 200 people throughout their three offices.

Job Description:

As a Senior Highways Engineer you can expect to be working on a multi-project portfolio providing detailed design on a number of improvement schemes. This will include preparation of contract drawings and documents and detailed, accurate technical calculations and reports.

The scope of work will be varied and interesting and will include feasibility, preliminary and detailed design for anything from small estate access roads through to multi-million pound schemes for Highways England.

As you develop in the role you will be given more project management responsibility and will be required to assist in managing junior staff.

Person Specification:

To apply for this role you will need to be an established Senior Engineer with an excellent working knowledge of the DMRB. Your experience delivering schemes for Highways England will have given you an excellent understanding of their policies and procedures and you will also have a knowledge of the Highways England Project Control Framework.

Ideally you will be a Chartered Engineer who possesses a strong technical knowledge which is complimented with good project management skills and the confidence and ability to communicate effectively with your team to achieve collective goals.
