As a leading provider of transport services to the development sector and currently expanding to provide technical expertise to the Public sector, they are seeking a Transport Planner to meet their growing workload. Based in Leeds, you will be joining a leading provider of transport services, working on a range of high profile projects. You will use your Development Planning knowledge such as the preparation of Transport Assessments and Statements on a variety of projects as well as providing highway drawings. You will be responsible for providing quality planning and design engineering services, as well as implementing various modelling software such as ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG for junction designs etc.
As well as being highly enthused, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a numerate subject, with the ambition to become a member of a relevant professional body. You will have working knowledge of modelling packages such as ARCADY, LINSIG, and PICADY, with experience using PARAMICS desirable. The ability to analyse data and the facility to construct logical arguments is essential, as well as being able to communicate these effectively. You will be given every opportunity to expand and develop your technical and project related talents, so that you can grow your career in unison with the company.
