An opportunity has arisen within an exceptional 5* Housing Developer for a seasoned Senior Engineer to join their design team in North Leeds, allowing easy access from the M1/A1 motorway network. The overall function of this role will involve overseeing the Design, Planning and Coordinating of engineering designs for several developments at any one time. You will ensure all engineering designs are completed and approved before going to build.
The Client is ideally looking for someone with a Housing Developer background; however, they may consider candidates from an Engineering Consultancy.
Person Specification:- To be considered for the role you will possess a suitable engineering degree or similar qualification in a Civil / Structural Engineering discipline - i.e HNC/HND or Civil Engineering degree.
- You will be comfortable and confident in communicating at a senior management level.
- You will be a competent user of the following software packages for Drainage Design, Highways and Levels - AutoCAD, PDS and MircoDrainage.
This role in the near future has the potential for the right candidate to be promoted to Engineering Manager. If you are looking for a company that can offer fantastic career progression, this role is definitely one for you.
