Their Clientele's projects are predominantly focused in Yorkshire but work is also undertaken in other regions across the UK.
My Client is looking to appoint an up-and-coming Principal Infrastructure Engineer or an established Associate Director to continue the growth and expansion of the company. They are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to manage and work on the designs of various infrastructure projects. You will be reporting directly into the Director of the civils team.
Being part of the Civils team, you will be responsible for the design of highway and drainage schemes for commercial, industrial and residential developments. You will possess around 10 years of experience working with road (Sections 38 & 278) and drainage (Sections 104) designs and you'll be familiar with the following software packages: MicroDrainage, PDS and AutoCAD. You will be responsible for project and team management in addition to liaising and negotiating with Clients and approving bodies. In the absence of the Team Leader, you will be capable and confident in leading projects and meetings.
Person Specification: You must hold a relevant Civil or Structural Engineering degree and be either Chartered or nearing Chartership to apply for this post. The suitable candidate will possess:
- Financial management skills and assessing potential projects and preparing fee quotes.
- Capable of working independently or with the design team.
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to delegate work and provide mentoring to less experienced members of staff.
- Great communication skills both written and verbally.
