Established for over 100 years, our Client is fast becoming the nation’s number one Housing Developer who specialises in regeneration and urban development of brownfield sites in order to create new communities. They build more than 1,000 homes a year, and as part of the company’s plans for the future, they are planning to open at least one office per year, offering fantastic opportunities for anyone wanting to join this prestigious Housing Developer.
My client is looking to appoint an established Developer Engineer with 5 years + experience within the Housing sector. You will be joining an existing team and reporting directly to the Technical Manager, demonstrating your knowledge and experience to competently run developments.
Your duties will include:
- Management of developments from inception through to completion
- Securing technical approval for road and sewer designs and acquiring sections 38, 278 and 104 agreements
- Commissioning of pre-design surveys such as topographical surveys, utility traces and site investigation works
- Liaising with external consultants and contractors to determine remediation and earthwork strategies
- Coordinating and overseeing all pre-construction engineering activities on site including remediation, earthworks and roads and sewers
- Deliver value Engineering process and information to secure site start dates in line with the business plan
To be considered for this position you must hold one of the following qualifications: BEng or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering.
Skills and Experience:
- Ability to manage your own projects and multitask
- Possess industry experience of working on residential developments
- Possess strong communication skills
- Ability to undertake feasibility and technical studies
- Experience using AutoCAD
Location: South and East Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000-£52,500 plus car/car allowance and benefits
