Job Description:
Are you a principal engineer looking to take the next step in your career or are you an associate where your role has become stagnant? This key client is looking to appoint a Principal/Associate Chartered Structural Engineer (MICE or IStructE) to take the lead on the some the of the UK\’s most technically complex projects. This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to step into an Associate level leadership position where you\’ll guide multi-disciplinary teams, shape design strategies and help drive the business forward.
Your role will include but not be limited to:
* Acting as technical lead on major civil/structural projects
* Overseeing the design team and coordinating inputs across the disciplines
* Liaising with and providing direction to more junior members of the design team
* You will be involved with leading bids, proposals, and business development across the sectors
* Assuming a formal leadership role such as CRE (Contractor\’s Responsible Engineer)
* You will provide support as well as being introduced to commercial responsibilities, including project profitability
Person Specification:
To be considered for the role you must be a Chartered Engineer (CEng) through the IStructe or ICE. You will be a natural leader, someone with proven experience in team leadership, client-facing and ability to provide cross discipline coordination. It is desirable that you have commercial awareness and ability to contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
