Mineral Resources’ Distribution Centre in High Wycombe is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Freight Coordinator to join our dedicated team. Reporting to the Logistics Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of domestic freight, predominantly between Perth and mining regions within Western Australia.

About The Role

This is a customer‑focused position in a dynamic environment, where priorities can shift quickly. You will need to be adaptable, methodical, and confident in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, with a strong emphasis on relationship building, problem‑solving, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage freight bookings from end‑to‑end across road and air services, using Bustle P2P Transport Management System and various third‑party booking portals.
  • Prepare and manage all required transport documentation.
  • Track and trace consignments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Conduct freight cost reconciliation to provide cost accuracy and visibility.
  • Liaise with internal departments to support operational requirements and resolve freight‑related requests.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance freight processes and service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations and compliance with all relevant transport regulations.

What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • Proven experience in a freight or logistics environment, ideally within the mining or resources sector.
  • Proficiency in using transport management systems (TMS), with experience in Bustle TMF highly regarded.
  • Sound knowledge of freight documentation processes and regulatory compliance, including Chain of Responsibility and dangerous goods requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with carriers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • High level of attention to detail, combined with exceptional organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of WA mining supply routes and remote site freight processes is advantageous.
  • Relevant qualifications in logistics, transport, or administration are desirable but not essential.
