Your Role

In your role as a Structural Engineer, you will be essential in delivering detailed structural designs and calculations across a diverse spectrum of materials and building components.

Responsibilities

• Independently driving projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet company targets and client expectations for practicality, cost-effectiveness, and buildability.
• Engaging with a network of professionals, including external installers, designers, engineers, and architects, to ensure designs are optimised and fit for purpose.
• Innovating and improving design processes to enhance efficiency and competitive edge in the market while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• A solid understanding of basic structural behaviour with excellent engineering judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and deliver on commitments under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the confidence to represent the company\’s interests in diverse settings.
• Experience with structural design in various materials such as steel, aluminium, glass, timber, and masonry.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software like SCIA Engineer, Tekla Structural Designer, IDEA Statica, along with MS Office. A basic knowledge of programming languages is a plus.
• Commercial experience and a drive towards professional accreditation such as Chartership.
