An exciting opportunity has arisen at Minehead First School, which is part of Beacon Education. Trustees, staff, parents and pupils are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to work in our team. We are an Ofsted approved 'Good' school, teaching children from Pre-School to Year 4, located in the popular seaside town of Minehead with access to Exmoor National Park. This striking coastline makes West Somerset a delightful place to live and raise a family.
We are looking for a person who will share the school’s vision, values and journey for sustained improvement. We are also looking for someone who is able to:
- Develop and implement an inspiring and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, in line with the National Curriculum.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, identifying areas for development and implementing effective strategies to support individual learning journeys.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest educational research, developments, and best practices, incorporating these into school practice.
