ROLE

We are seeking a

Graduate Quality Control Engineer to join our data operations and quality assurance team.

This role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in 2D image annotations used to train and evaluate our AI models for defect detection.

ESSENTIAL

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong visual analysis skills.
  • Ability to follow structured annotation and QC protocols with high consistency.
  • Familiarity with image data and interest in computer vision applications .
  • Comfortable using digital annotation platforms and working with structured data (e. g., spreadsheets).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal).
  • Available to work from Manchester office (minimum 3 days in the office Tue-Thurs mandatory).

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with relevant programs such as Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Data Science, Data Labelling and Quality Assurance for AI.
  • Experience with annotation tools such as Label Studio, VGG Image Annotator.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or defect types in industrial components.
  • Interest in AI-driven visual inspection and data-centric AI development.
