This media-planning co-ordination position will offer the selected candidate an opportunity to grow their knowledge of international media landscapes and evolve their expertise in global media planning and strategic consultancy. It is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager or an Account Director looking for a new challenge in an integrated client / agency role, where the right candidate will have ownership of projects and the capacity to be involved in proactive asks and forward thinking.
You will work as part of the Booking.com team reporting into the Global Business Director., * Engage with local market planning experts to brief and support cross channel campaign planning across key EU/AU markets including UK, DE, FR and AU.

Ensure cross channel plans have a clear, consistent rationale and are aligned to global strategy

Collaborate with local planning leads to design impactful, digitally focused paid media campaigns in each market

Manage and support the development of the junior talent in the team

Build a strong knowledgebase and understanding of the client’s business and marketplace

Coordinate/manage local market and regional media partner briefing process

Act as an expert voice during client facing planning meetings on local market media landscapes (potential partners, channel effectiveness, measurement, and testing)

Problem solve local market challenges with confidence and present high-quality solutions to clients

Build strong relationships with local and internal Mindshare teams to ensure markets are delivering key actions across the account

Work with local markets to improve planning and reporting practices on an on-going basis

Lead implementation process of regional campaigns, working closely with external agencies to deliver executional excellence.

Integrate planning & media Strategy knowledge and expertise into operational practices across the account.

Lead in the collation of competitor, market, and media activity to provide insightful updates to the clients and team

Keep abreast of EMEA media channel developments, identifying new channels and test opportunities for upcoming campaigns in collaboration with Global Digital Team.
