What You'll Be Doing<\/b>
<\/p>
Stepping into this role, you'll take charge of the service's overall performance, culture and compliance. Day to day, this looks like:
<\/p>
- Setting the tone for the team β coaching, supervising and developing staff to consistently deliver excellent care.
<\/li> - Owning CQC compliance from end to end, and pushing the service towards (or maintaining) a Good/Outstanding rating.
<\/li> - Making sure every care/support plan reflects the person it's written for, not a template.
<\/li> - Handling recruitment, onboarding, supervisions and staff appraisals.
<\/li> - Running the audit and quality assurance cycle, with clear reporting up to senior management.
<\/li> - Acting as the key point of contact for families, external professionals and local agencies.
<\/li> - Embedding strong safeguarding practice and a culture where staff feel confident raising concerns.
<\/li> - Sharing an on -call rota with the wider management team.
<\/li><\/ul>
<\/div><\/span>Requirements<\/h3>You'll need:<\/p>Solid experience as a CQC Registered Manager.<\/li>A Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care.<\/li>A genuinely strong grasp of CQC's regulatory framework, not just box -ticking familiarity.<\/li>The people skills to lead a team and the organisation to keep a busy service running smoothly.<\/li>A full UK driving licence would be an advantage.<\/li><\/ul>It would also help if you've:<\/p>Worked in residential care, supported living, or with learning disability/mental health services.<\/li>Personally led a service through an inspection, or turned around its rating.<\/li><\/ul>Sound like you?
