Electrical Engineer

About The Opportunity A strong opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary building services team in Manchester. You will support the delivery of electrical engineering design across a wide range of project sectors including commercial, residential, public sector, science, research and mission‑critical environments. This role is ideal for someone building their design expertise and looking to progress within a collaborative technical environment. You’ll be involved in concept development, detailed design, coordination activities and client engagement, while working closely with senior engineers to deliver high‑quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the delivery of electrical engineering design on a variety of building projects Assist with developing concept designs, calculations, drawings, technical reports and specifications Support coordination with architects, mechanical engineers and other specialists Attend internal project meetings and contribute to design discussions Communicate design information succinctly and accurately to colleagues and external partners Take responsibility for discrete work packages with support from senior engineers Assist with design reviews, compliance checks and quality assurance processes Support the preparation of project documentation and client deliverables What You Need Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer delivering building services design Working knowledge of Revit, BIM workflows, Dialux, Relux and Electrical OM Understanding of electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, containment and life safety systems Experience working with clients, architects and contractors in a consultancy or design‑focused environment Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project delivery Willingness to take ownership of tasks and develop technical capability Interest in supporting and learning from senior engineers Skills autocad, design, revit MEP Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Business Consulting and Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
