The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in driving SaaS revenue growth by generating high-quality new business opportunities. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline development while contributing to the growth and visibility of the AccountsIQ brand. You will be ambitious, resilient, and motivated by success, with a strong desire to develop your sales capabilities and build a long-term career in SaaS.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the lead generation function to conduct high-volume prospecting through calls, emails, and social media.
  • Create, manage, and prioritize strategic target account lists within defined verticals.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries using a consultative sales approach to qualify prospects and convert interest into sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a healthy, sustainable pipeline of new business opportunities to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Present and clearly articulate the AccountsIQ value proposition to prospective customers.
  • Support marketing initiatives, including campaigns, webinars, and events, to drive demand generation.
  • Accurately manage and document all activities, leads, and opportunities within Salesforce CRM.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the AccountsIQ product portfolio and relevant industry trends.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts with accuracy and within deadlines.
  • Contribute to quarterly business reviews and business planning activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or cold calling (preferably in SaaS or B2B).
  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce CRM or a similar CRM platform.
  • Strong prospecting, lead generation, networking, and qualification skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Consultative selling mindset with a genuine curiosity about adding value to customers’ businesses.
  • Proven ability to work towards measurable performance goals and targets.
  • Strong team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn, develop new skills, and grow a career in SaaS sales.
