The Role
This role is designed as a development opportunity, offering structured training and the chance to progress your career within a technical department. As Specification Technologist, you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet regulatory standards and customer expectations, while gaining hands-on exposure across all areas of the technical function.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the creation and management of artwork briefs for new and seasonal products
- Review and approve packaging artwork alongside senior technical staff
- Create, update, and maintain product specifications and labelling
- Ensure compliance with food regulations and customer requirements
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain and verify technical documentation
- Complete customer information requests (e.g. allergens, sustainability data)
- Assist with QA checks, audits, and scheduled inspections
- Produce reports on environmental conditions (e.g. temperature and humidity)
- Maintain technical documentation and develop new process resources
- Support complaint investigations, root cause analysis, and non-conformance tracking
