Serenita Care Home is a well established service in Weston-super-Mare, set within a characterful Victorian residence close to the seafront.
Supporting up to 34 residents, the home provides specialist care for individuals with mental health conditions, including alcohol related brain damage and Korsakoffs syndrome, within a structured, supportive and independence focused environment.
Domestic Assistant Contract £12.71 per hour Contracted to 22.5 hours per week Shift Times 9AM - 2PM Set Shifts - Week 1 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday | Week 2 Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided and onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata) Role Overview As a Domestic Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment for individuals with a range of complex needs, including advanced dementia and mental health conditions.
Your work will support the overall wellbeing of residents, helping to create a calm and welcoming space where they feel safe and at home.
You will carry out cleaning duties across residents rooms, communal areas and shared spaces, ensuring high standards of hygiene and infection control are maintained at all times.
Working closely with the wider team, you will support a well organised environment and contribute to the smooth running of the home.
This role requires attention to detail, reliability and a respectful approach, recognising the importance of maintaining dignity and privacy while working within residents personal spaces.
