They have created a new role for a Furniture CAD Technician with the potential for the position to develop into much more for the right person.
This will have involvement in the finer details of furniture manufacture, detailed drawings, procurement and installation.
You will be working on fitted kitchens, tables, dressing rooms and home bars.
Your work as a Furniture CAD Technician will involve: Using Auto CAD for technical drawings and design work Facilitating the development of sign-off, setting out, procurement and production of furniture Liaising with the design team and project managers Working with private clients, architects, developers and interior designers Occasional travel to the showroom / studio in London and project sites, in order to attend meetings and to carry out site surveys and checks Skills and Experience needed for the Furniture CAD Technician: A good understanding of fitted furniture within the KBB sector Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience Fluent in 2D Auto CAD A proactive person with a self-starter attitude and strong time-management skills Own car and Driving Licence Salary on offer will be between £34k and £36k plus pension.
