My Law Solicitors is a growing specialist employment law firm based in Wakefield. We advise employees and employers across England and Wales, with a strong reputation for providing clear, practical advice and exceptional client care.
Were looking for an enthusiastic Employment Solicitor to join our close-knit team.

About Us
Were a family-run law firm with a simple philosophy: provide outstanding legal advice whilst creating a supportive place to work.
We believe solicitors produce their best work when they are trusted, supported and given realistic workloads. We dont believe in unnecessary pressure, excessive billing targets or a culture of staying late simply for appearances.
Instead, we offer structured working practices, genuine teamwork and an environment where everyone supports one another.
As a specialist employment law firm, every member of our team works exclusively within employment law, allowing you to develop real expertise in this area from the very beginning of your career.
The Role
Your work will include advising clients across a broad range of employment law matters, including:
- Settlement Agreements
A significant proportion of your work will involve advising clients on Settlement Agreements, explaining legal advice in plain English, negotiating with employers and helping clients achieve the best possible outcome.
Youll quickly gain responsibility for your own files whilst working closely with Leah and Balal, who will provide ongoing support, guidance and supervision as your experience develops.
About You
Were looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a current practising certificate.
Previous employment law experience is essential.
What We Offer
- Salary of £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience.
Why Join My Law Solicitors?
Joining a smaller specialist firm gives you opportunities that are often difficult to find elsewhere.
Youll work directly with experienced employment solicitors every day, develop strong client relationships, gain meaningful responsibility from an early stage and play an important role in the continued growth of the firm. xjlbheb
