Dont miss your chance to make an impact!</p> <p>We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Composite Design Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for the design of F1 car composite parts, from the studies of layout installations to the patterns, moulds, tools, jigs. You will also be responsible for enhancing the development of more efficient design processes and mentorship of less experienced designers.</p> <p><b>COMPOSITE DESIGN</b></p> <p>Undertaking studies and schemes, based on aerodynamic info and car layout, according to line manager guidelines</p> <p>Ensure designs are released on target, to agreed specification.</p> <p>Designing and detailing specification of various composite components such as: front and rear wings, chassis & impact structures and bodywork.</p> <p>Covering the reliability needs for designed parts, in collaboration with the related involved departments.</p> <p>Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and design analysis reports.</p> <p><b>COMMUNICATION</b></p> <p>Collaborate with the materials team/production/R&D to select appropriate composite materials based on performance requirements and manufacturing considerations.</p> <p>Maintaining effective communication with their own teams as well as other departments.</p> <p><b>INNOVATION AND PROFESSIONALISM</b></p> <p>To contribute to car performance with ideas for improvement and highlight any potential issues seen.</p> <p>To keep up-to-date with all latest technical developments which can be applied .</p> <p>Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects.</p> <p><b>WHAT WE OFFER</b></p> <p>Working in a young, collaborative and international environment.</p> <p>Tailored training.</p> <p>Company Events / Briefings.</p> <p>On site Gym.</p> <p>Bonus scheme.</p> <p>Annual salary review process.</p> <p>Meal Tickets</p> <p>Free additional health insurance</p> <p>Experience </p><ul><li>University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.</li> <li>Proven experience in composite design, preferably in the automotive or motorsports industry.</li> <li>Solid knowledge of modelling techniques and an understanding of composite manufacturing techniques using pre-preg technology.</li> <li>Proficiency in CAD software, Siemens NX would be preferable.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Effective communication and collaboration skills.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.</li> <li>Ability to take ownership of assigned projects.</li> </ul>
