We have a new vacancy for a herdsperson on a family farm south of Shrewsbury. The 230 pedigree herd averages 10,200 litres on 2x/day milking through a modern 25/50 parlour and housed all year. With recent investment in buildings and new machinery, this is an excellent, modern, well-managed unit.
The varied role would include milking and other general stockwork along with tractor driving at busy times. Attention to detail and previous experience is vitally important along with a love of dairy cattle. The ability to AI and foot trimming would be an advantage but not essential.
