Recycling Operative Severn Beach £12.71 per hour A driving licence is required for this role Abatec Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Recycling Operative to join a busy and fast-paced recycling operation.

This is a hands-on role involving the processing of materials, recovery of recyclable metals, operation of plant machinery, and maintaining high standards of health and safety across the site.

Whats on

Offer: Monday to Friday 06.00 AM - 16.00 PM Temp to Perm after 12 weeks £12.71 increasing when trained.

Key Responsibilities Operate recycling plant equipment safely, including screens, magnets, and crushers.

Monitor equipment and help keep operations running efficiently.

Sort and recover recyclable materials at picking stations.

Check material quality to ensure it meets required standards.

Operate loaders, excavators, and other machinery when authorised.

Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.

Report equipment faults and help resolve issues.

Desirable Skills & Experience Previous experience within recycling, waste management, quarrying, aggregates, or a similar industrial preferred.

Physically fit and capable of carrying out demanding manual work in an industrial environment.
