Salary Range: Β£40,000 to Β£50,000 per annum

Location: Twyford, Hampshire – Travel to various sites required

Full Site Based/Hybrid/Remote Working: Flexing working available – Upon successful completion of probation period

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

Role information:

  • Assist the QHSE Manager to ensure that CAN suppliers are suitably prepared, resourced and SQEP to accept and deliver a specific Scope of Works.
  • Liaise with the Engineering Team to support the production of Technical/Functional Scope of Work Documents which will act as the driving documents in identifying a clear pathway forward for quality related project activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and customer support to ensure that deliverables and targets are met.
  • Contribute to the development and validation of the project and wider businesses Quality methodologies.
  • Create, own and execute the quality requirements of the contract.
  • Assist the Project Manager with the development of surveillance schedules as per contract requirements.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • ONC/HNC or equivalent in a relative discipline.
  • Certified or competent in weld inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods (eg. PCN or CSWI levels 2/3).
  • Quality Control Systems - Develop and implement Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control procedures.
  • Ensure design, fabrication and testing processes comply with nuclear industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Review and approve Quality Documentation Packages, Manufacturing Record Books and Non-Conformance Reports.
  • Compiling LTQR concurrently with physical progress of the works associated with each Inspection and Test Plan.
  • Oversee fabrication, welding, non-destructive examination, pressure testing and dimensional inspection activities.
  • Experience of working within a highly regulated industry.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO9001.
  • UK National Security Vetting Status – Ability to gain SC Clearance.
