Well Respected Traditional Builder seeks to appoint a QS/Estimator to their business on a Temp Basis. <p> <b>Your new company</b><br>Our client is a long-established traditional builder in Edinburgh who have a strong reputation for complex project delivery across high-end refurbishment and new build sectors. Typical projects run up to 5million.<br><b>Your new role</b><br> Due to a busy period upcoming, they are seeking to appoint a QS/Estimator on a contract basis for at least 3 months. Working as part of the commercial team, you will be working on projects all the way from estimating and cost planning to commercial management of live projects. Typical projects could be up to 5million and are refurbishment in nature.<br><b>What youll need to succeed</b><br> Our client is seeking someone who can add value immediately and, with that in mind, you will be a degree-qualified quantity surveyor with significant experience in building construction and refurbishment projects. Ideally, you will have some estimating experience and enjoy the environment of working for a smaller, more traditional builder who is very client-focused. This role would suit an experienced QS who is seeking perhaps a part-time role working in a nice environment. Perhaps you have retired but are looking to pick up some short-term contract work or are nearing retirement and are looking for a change of pace?<br><b>What youll get in return</b><br> Our clients will pay a competitive hourly rate and can be paid by PAYE, Umbrella or Ltd company (outside IR35).
