The Role

Domestic Care Assistant - working from 12 hours per week from 10am to 4pm on a Saturday and a Sunday on a weekly basis. As a Domestic Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:

  • Communal cleaning - ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
  • Domestic tasks - dust, polish and vacuum residents' bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
  • Collaboration - work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Companionship - provide support, communication and engagement to residents
  • Team support - helping new or existing colleagues through shadowing and teamwork, and supporting the smooth running of the home when required

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK, please note: Under new guidance we are unable to accept skilled or student visas
  • Caring, positive, and reliable individuals
  • Previous care experience is not essential, as fully funded training is provided
