<p>We are looking for a PLM Technical Analyst to join our PLM Team: a sub-section of Enterprise Systems which is part of our Technology Innovation Group (TIG) department. Our PLM Team covers CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM and Manufacturing Systems. </p> <p>Reporting to our Head of PLM, you will provide key support and improvements to our engineering systems. This is a junior position within the team and offers hands-on experience with Teamcenter and NX, blending system administration, infrastructure learning, and light development work. You’ll collaborate with senior team members to understand technical requirements, implement small customizations, and help ensure our PLM tools run smoothly and efficiently. </p> <p><b>Main responsibilities:</b> </p> <ul><li> <p>Assist in managing day-to-day PLM system administration tasks, including user access, configurations, and troubleshooting. </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Support the maintenance and monitoring of infrastructure components related to Teamcenter and NX environments. </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Collaborate with senior engineers to gather and understand technical requirements for system enhancements. </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Develop and maintain small scripts or tools to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency. </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Participate in testing and validation of PLM customizations and updates. </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Document technical procedures, configurations, and support guides for internal use. </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Provide first-line technical support to engineering teams using PLM tools. </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Continuously learn and grow technical skills in PLM platforms, infrastructure, and software development. </p> </li> <li> <p>Support system administration tasks and respond to technical service requests within the PLM environment. </p> </li> <li> <p>Learn and assist in managing infrastructure components related to Teamcenter and NX. </p> </li> <li> <p>Analyse technical requirements and contribute to small-scale customizations and automation scripts. </p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with senior engineers to maintain and enhance PLM tools through light coding and con-figuration. </p> </li> </ul><p> </p> <p><b>Skills and experience required:</b></p> <ul><li> <p>A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus. </p> </li> <li> <p>A strong interest in engineering systems, digital tools, and technical problem-solving. </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Basic understanding of system administration or IT infrastructure concepts. </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Familiarity with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Shell, or similar). </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Willingness to learn PLM platforms such as Teamcenter and NX. </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset. </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and support. </p> </li> </ul><ul><li> <p>Ability to document technical processes clearly and accurately. </p> </li> </ul><p> </p> <p>Company Description </p><p>For almost 50 years, Williams Racing has been at the forefront of one of the fastest sports on the planet, being one of the top three most successful teams in history competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
