<p>The Payroll & HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources function within our fast-paced motorsports organization. This position is responsible for processing payroll, maintaining accurate employee records (electronic and paper), administering HRIS and timekeeping systems, and delivering outstanding HR administrative support. This individual will serve as a trusted point of contact for employees regarding payroll, HR, and benefits questions, and will assist with onboarding new employees and coordinating employee exits.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:Payroll & Timekeeping </p><p> – Process accurate and timely payroll using ADP Workforce Now, including validation of hours, earnings, and deductions.<br> – Maintain and audit timekeeping records, ensure proper approval of time off and attendance, and reconcile discrepancies.<br> – Ensure payroll compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.<br> – Prepare and distribute payroll reports, tax forms (W-2), and assist with year-end processing.</p> <p>HR Administration & Employee Support </p><p> – Maintain complete and accurate employee records—both electronic (ADP/SharePoint) and physical.<br> – Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, policies, and HR procedures.<br> – Support full employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, employee changes, and terminations.<br> – Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment.<br> – Provide administrative support for HR events, trainings, and compliance tasks.<br> – Support HR projects and continuous improvement efforts.</p> <p>Qualifications: </p><p> – Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.<br> – 5+ years of experience in payroll and HR administration.<br> – Proficient in ADP Workforce Now and timekeeping systems; SharePoint experience preferred.<br> – High level of confidentiality and discretion.<br> – Strong organizational and communication skills.<br> – Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.</p> <p>Work Environment: </p><p>On-site role at our Mooresville, NC, motorsports facility. Requires focus, flexibility, and professionalism in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Occasional extended hours may be required during peak periods.</p>
