Ready to make a difference in travel insurance? Gallagher is looking for a Travel Recovery Claims Handler to join our in-house legal team, Strata Solicitors. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in claims, insurance, legal services or financial services. You'll join a supportive team, learning how travel-related recovery claims are managed from initial notification through to resolution, while delivering excellent service to customers and stakeholders.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Managing new claims on our system and carrying out initial checks
  • Gathering information and documentation to support claim progression
  • Communicating with customers, insurers, solicitors and other third parties
  • Keeping claim records accurate and up to date
  • Handling correspondence and administrative tasks in a timely manner
  • Supporting the wider team to ensure claims are progressed efficiently
  • Working in line with company processes, service standards and regulatory requirements

About You:

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
  • Previous experience handling travel claims, personal injury claims, liability claims, recovery claims or insurance claims is essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence speaking to a range of stakeholders
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Well organised, self-motivated and able to manage priorities effectively
  • Ability to review evidence, assess liability and negotiate outcomes where appropriate
  • Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
