Motoring Events Manager £50-55,000 plus annual bonus

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Event Manager, passionate about motoring and motorsport to join our bustling Motoring team, based over both our stunning clubhouses.
Purpose:
We’re looking for a highly experienced events professional with a strong understanding of the automotive and motorsport industries. This pivotal role reports to the Head of Motoring and is responsible for designing and delivering a wide-ranging programme of over 60 motoring events annually across our prestigious clubhouses. You’ll also take the lead in managing cornerstone experiences such as the Royal Automobile Club Concours and London Motor Week.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of the full Motoring events calendar
- Manage and mentor the Motoring Events Coordinator, ensuring high performance and development
- Control event budgets and financial reporting, delivering P&Ls and reconciliation
- Drive stakeholder engagement through post-event reviews and continuous improvements
- Ensure all legal, health and safety, and compliance measures are upheld
- Deliver targeted promotional strategies across all available platforms
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and partners
- Provide exceptional experiences to Club members, maintaining high standards throughout
- Support internal sustainability efforts and promote best practices across the department
About you:
- Deep knowledge and passion for automotive and motorsport sectors essential
- Extensive knowledge of large-scale event planning and organisation
- Proven expertise delivering high-end hospitality or live event programmes
- Strong background in operational planning, budgeting, and logistics
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining attention to detail
- Confident communicator and natural team leader with solid presentation skills
- Creative thinker with awareness of emerging trends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Energetic, sociable, and highly organised, with a professional attitude
