<p><b>Were looking for a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Kier places team based in the West Midlands.</b></p> <p><b>Location:</b> West Midlands – covering Birmingham, Shropshire, Bristol & Manchester. Remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.</p> <p><b>Hours:</b> 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.</p> <p><b>What will you be responsible for?</b></p> <p>As a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer, youll be working within the Kier Places team, supporting them in delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across multiple office sites.</p> <p>Your day to day will include:</p> <ul> <li>Delivering PPM tasks such as water hygiene checks and emergency lighting across Kier-occupied offices </li><li>Performing reactive maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and general repairs </li><li>Supervising contracted works and liaising with clients and subcontractors </li><li>Using a tablet to manage PPM and reactive works </li><li>Carrying out building inspections and updating site logbooks </li></ul> <p><b>What are we looking for?</b></p> <p>This role of Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer is great for you if:</p> <ul> <li>You have a full clean driving license (a van will be provided) </li><li>You have experience delivering mobile maintenance in a commercial environment </li><li>You have excellent communication skills </li><li>You hold a Level 3 Electrical trade qualification (such as NVQ/City & Guilds 2360, 2330, 2356, 2357, AM1/AM2, or equivalent) </li><li>You have your 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certificate (BS7671:2018 / Level 3 C&G 2382) </li></ul> <p>It would be <b>desirable</b> if you also have:</p> <ul> <li>Initial Verification of Electrical Installations (Level 3 C&G 2391-50 or equivalent) </li><li>Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (Level 3 C&G 2391-51 or equivalent) </li><li>Or the combined Testing and Inspection of Electrical Installations (Level 3 C&G 2391-52 or equivalent) </li></ul> <p>(Dont worry if you dont yet hold these β€” we can support the right candidate to gain them.)</p> <p>Were all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
