As Bar Supervisor, you will assist in the management of beverage service within the Palm Court and Seaforth Restaurant Team and floor areas. Ensuring you and your team deliver service to an optimum level, in support of the Bar Operations Manager and Palm Court Floor Manager.. This role has variable shifts, evenings and days of work 5 days over 7 (inclusive of weekends when Restaurants & Bars are busy). You will ensure the highest quality of customer service and emotional intelligence in all areas, with demonstrated commitment in hitting financial, operational targets and adherence to licensing laws. Training, upskilling and motivating the team is a priority along with delivering key measurables on stock, key lines and financial bar closing reports. You will be an expert in Mixology specialising in the Art of the Bar and delivering cocktails with a story. You will proactively drive efficiency, employee productivity, operational procedures and compliance with financial processes.
An operational background (preferably within a full service hotel or quality restaurant / bar with high footfall) with at least 1 full year of Supervisory experience in a quality establishment.
Passion for interacting with people and you must be driven for you and your team to deliver quality 5* service.
An art of leading the team to maximise service, productivity and revenue opportunities (upsells, side orders, further drinks, recommendations).
Excelling in planning, preparing, knowledge sharing, costings, training and being fully communicative with your team and other departments.
Ensure service standards and guest satisfaction are at the highest levels through training, mentoring, monitoring, feedback and setting expectations. Orchestrate a timeless memory and ensure our guests are delighted with our service.
