Youll be working across a variety of public and independent schools in and around the Guildford area , with regular weekday shifts and a great work-life balance.

DBS As these roles are within education settings, an Enhanced DBS check is required.

Working Hours Enjoy regular Monday to Friday shifts , typically 7:00am – 3:00pm , with evenings, weekends and school holidays often available to suit your lifestyle.

As part of Compass Group, youll also have the opportunity to work across more than 5,000 venues nationwide should you wish to pick up additional shifts.

Main Chef Responsibilities Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals in line with menus and food safety standards.

Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety.

Support and coach new team members where required.

Help create a positive dining experience for students, staff and visitors.

Bring enthusiasm to work every day and enjoy being part of a great team.

Skills & Qualifications Previous chef or catering experience is preferred.

A passion for producing high-quality food.

Excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards.

Ability to work as part of a busy team.

Enhanced DBS required (we can help arrange this if needed).
