The Team Leader (Night Shift) will play a key role in leading an operative-level team and will be accountable for health & safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery standards within the area. This is a hands-on leadership position within a fast-paced FMCG environment, supporting operational excellence and team development.
Shift Pattern: Nights: Sunday-Thursday, 22:00-06:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team at operative level
- Promote strong leadership, communication, and organisational standards
- Monitor staffing levels and act upon staffing requirements
- Ensure all team members are trained to a competent level to carry out duties safely and correctly
- Maintain appropriate skill levels within the team
- Ensure all hygiene systems and relevant paperwork are completed accurately and on time
- Analyse, review, and communicate team performance regularly
- Understand and implement effective cleaning practices
- Manage staff rotas and holidays using TMS
- Understand and support environmental and allergen swabbing regimes
- Step up to Manager role to provide cover during holiday periods
- Promote a professional and positive attitude at all times
Skills & Experience:
Essential: Minimum 2 years experience in an FMCG hygiene role. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
