Marlowe Digital Ltd is the UK's largest independent provider of prepress equipment services. We are looking for an experienced Computer‐to‐Plate (CTP) Service Engineer to work on specialist prepress and imaging systems, supporting customers across the UK.

This is a hands‐on, field‐based role working with advanced prepress technology in a stable, well‐respected business with long‐term customer relationships. This role would suit an experienced CTP or prepress engineer looking for a long‐term, stable field position.

The Role
  • Installation, commissioning, and servicing of CTP imaging systems
  • Breakdown repair and preventative maintenance at customer sites
  • Mechanical, electrical, and software fault‐finding
  • Supporting customers with system operation and basic training
  • Accurate completion of service reports and documentation
  • Working closely with internal technical and logistics teams
  • UK‐wide travel, with occasional overnight stays as required
About You
  • Previous experience as a CTP Service Engineer or similar prepress / print service role
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault‐finding skills
  • Good understanding of prepress workflows and imaging technology
  • Experience with thermal or violet CTP systems desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable working independently in a customer‐facing role
  • Reliable, organised, and professional
