Clinical Deputy Manager | Mayflower Care Home, Northfleet (DA11) | Up to £68,000 per annum | Full Time | Days Mayflower Care Home is a 76-bed dementia and is set across three dedicated floors, each tailored to residents individual needs.

The ground floor supports general nursing needs and people living with later-stage dementia.

The second floor provides enhanced support for residents who may experience more challenging behaviours, including increased 1:1 time where required.

The top floor supports a mix of dementia and mental health needs, caring for residents who may present with more complex, advanced challenges.

This is a hands on Deputy Manager role where visibility, clinical confidence, and leadership on the floor are essential.

Youll play a key role in stabilising and improving the service supporting the team in real time and working closely with the Home Manager to set and maintain high standards of care.

The opportunity Youll be at the centre of the homes day-to-day clinical and operational leadership.

Working closely with the Home Manager you will help bring structure, pace, and accountability into the service.

Youll be a consistent presence for the nursing and care teams coaching, guiding and stepping in where needed to ensure high-quality care is delivered every day.

What we are looking for You are a confident, credible nurse leader who is comfortable in a large, complex dementia service.

Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.

Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in a Deputy Manager or senior clinical role within a 60 bed care home.

Strong clinical grounding across core nursing fundamentals.

Proven experience working within dementia care, including advanced and complex needs.

A visible, hands-on leadership style you lead from the front.

Experience supporting compliance, audits, and improving standards within a service.

Calm under pressure, clear in your approach, and able to build trust quickly.
