Darlaston Builders Merchants are one of the Midlands Leading Supplier of Building, Landscaping, Civil and DIY materials. We have four sister companies including BrickExpress, 4bathrooms, DBMcivils and GreyShire Homes. We operate a total of 6 branches around the midlands including Birmingham and the Black Country and employ around 70 employees.<br><br>Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity.<br>Our well-earned reputation and the 35-year establishment in the trade allows us to provide the best customer service possible, including high quality materials at very competitive prices.<br>We are looking for a driven individual to support our new website and social media integration *delivering and executing the best in-class social media campaigns throughout the year and handle day-to-day tasks and requests from the team and directors. This position is based at our site in West Bromwich, but may require some travel to other sites locally.<br>Part time vacancy – 3 days per week (flexible)<br>Please send a link to your portfolio when applying. <br>Daily Duties:<br>Website admin duties:<br> Be part of the companies new website integration<br>* Creating new images for the website and working alongside the lead web developer<br>* Contacting suppliers and requesting suitable images for the products being uploaded to the website<br>* For those images unable to be requested from suppliers photography skills are required in order to produce new images of the products in store<br>(Please note primary role of the job requires requesting images from suppliers and admin work using excel for the new web integration)<br>Social media duties:<br>* You’ll be required to update content on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn on a daily basis<br>* Experience with allocating payments against Facebook and Instagram.<br>* Allocating monthly budgets against social media campaigns<br>* Creating/Updating Marketing material<br>* Creating new content by taking photos of new products and visiting branches to produce new photo content for social media<br>* Experience with setting budgets and costs when boosting advertisements on Instagram and Facebook<br>* Deliver creative contents using text, image and video<br>* You’ll be monitoring engagement across all the above platforms<br>* Creating and Editing product images for the website<br>Key Responsibilities:<br>* Design engaging banners and custom product images for web and promotional use<br>* Upload and manage product images and content on our Shopify website<br>* Collaborate with the web developer and social media assistant to support campaigns and updates<br>* Create product offer images and promotional banners under tight deadlines<br>* Maintain brand consistency across all digital content<br>Requirements:<br>* Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design, with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and related tools<br>* Experience working with Shopify and managing e-commerce content<br>* A good eye for layout, colour, and visual storytelling<br>* Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines<br>* Familiarity with Google Ads and Google Shopping is a plus<br>Bonus Skills (Preferred but not essential):<br>* Experience with digital marketing tools<br>* Basic HTML/CSS understanding<br>* Animation or video editing skill<br>Job Type: Part-time<br>Pay: From £12.21 per hour<br>Expected hours: 22.5 per week<br>Benefits:<br>* Employee discount<br>* Free parking<br>* Life insurance<br>* On-site parking<br>* Referral programme<br>* Store discount<br>Application question(s):<br>* Are you able to create content on the social media platforms listed?<br>* How many years photography experience?<br>Experience:<br>* Graphic design: 2 years (required)<br>* Microsoft Excel: 2 years (required)<br>Work Location: In person
