Skilled Medical is one of Australiaβs largest suppliers of rural doctors and we are seeking experienced rural GPs to join our senior medical locum pool and for permanent roles across Australia. We will allocate a personal recruitment consultant to seek out and match your availability to job opportunities and take care of your placements every step of the way. The Positions Experienced rural General Practitioners are sought for permanent, short and long-term contract placements in outback, rural, regional and outer metro in several states of Australia in the following fields: Rural Family GPs β working primarily in clinics in rural and regional areas. Rural Generalists β working in clinics, hospital emergency departments and providing inpatient care. GP Proceduralists in Anaesthetics and Obstetrics β Rural generalist duties plus providing anaesthetic and/or obstetric services. Emergency Senior Medical Officers β working in hospital emergency departments. Positions are typically available at district hospitals and clinics across Australia where there are short and long-term vacancies for rural GPs. To view a selection of GP jobs available click here. Rural placements provide return flights, use of a motor vehicle and accommodation. Competitive remuneration packages are available for permanent placements often above AUD 400,000 with generous leave and CPD benefits.
