About the Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Flagger to work with a Housing Association based in Halton. The role will involve preparing and laying paving slabs (flags) and carrying out external paving repairs to a high standard across residential properties and pathways. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Flagger looking for an immediate start on a well-established social housing contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and levelling ground surfaces for paving installation
- Laying flags, paving slabs and other paving materials to a high standard
- Carrying out repairs and replacements to existing paved areas
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with specifications and within agreed timescales
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Delivering excellent workmanship and customer service while working on occupied properties
Requirements
- Previous experience in flagging/paving, ideally within the Social Housing sector
- NVQ qualification in a relevant trade (preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Good understanding of construction health and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
