Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience designing fire alarm and detection systems? Do you have a strong AutoCAD background and experience working on large industrial projects? If so, please read on...

Essential skillset:

  • Electrical design experience with fire alarm and detection systems
  • Strong AutoCAD experience (Revit/BIM knowledge advantageous)
  • Good understanding of BS 5839 and UK fire safety regulations
  • Experience producing electrical schematics, layouts and installation drawings
  • Ability to carry out on-site surveys and design verification
  • Experience coordinating designs with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience participating in client design reviews and resolving technical queries
  • Ability to produce project documentation including specifications, reports and design deliverables

Desirable experience:

  • Previous experience on large industrial or manufacturing projects
  • BIM coordination and digital design workflows
  • Knowledge of wider British Standards and fire engineering principles
  • Experience supporting system testing, validation and commissioning activities
