ByteSearch is a search firm focused on connecting the brightest minds in engineering and AI with the world’s most ambitious and innovative companies. We partner with the world’s most ambitious startups, from stealth AI ventures to VC-backed scaleups. We’re hiring our first internal team member: an Embedded Talent Partner to help scale delivery, grow the brand, and shape ByteSearch’s future. You’ll work onsite with one of our key London clients as an embedded partner, owning end-to-end hiring and acting as the face of ByteSearch.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience placing top-tier talent into world-class startups and scaleups. Exposure to companies like Palantir, OpenAI, DeepMind, etc., is a bonus — but not essential. This is a high-autonomy role. We’re not here to micromanage or drown you in KPIs. You’ll have the freedom to work independently, make decisions, and focus on delivering real results — without constant check-ins or unnecessary red tape.

Beyond Delivery

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Partner closely with our client on hiring strategy and execution
  • Headhunt elite candidates across multiple channels
  • Champion the ByteSearch & Client brand on LinkedIn and in the market
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and talent movements
  • Help run events, build community, and grow our market presence

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Source exceptional talent through multiple channels (not just LinkedIn)
  • Deliver a world-class candidate experience
  • Continuously improve hiring processes and employer brand
  • Be confident, organised, proactive, and commercially minded
  • Represent ByteSearch as a trusted, strategic partner

  • Up to £60K base annual bonus
  • Hybrid working — remote initially, then 3 days onsite with the client
