Overview: I am currently working with a fast-growing clean-tech business delivering innovative low-carbon energy solutions across commercial and industrial projects. They are scaling their engineering team and seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in project delivery.
The Role:
- Lead electrical & controls design from concept through to construction (RIBA 4)
- Produce SLDs, wiring schematics, load schedules, and cable sizing
- Design systems integrating renewables, HVAC, and energy technologies
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners
- Support junior engineers and contribute to design best practice
- Engage with clients and support project delivery through to commissioning
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in EC&I design
- Strong knowledge of LV systems / BS 7671 (18th Edition)
- Experience with BMS / PLC / SCADA systems
- Background in building services, HVAC, or industrial environments
- Proficient with tools such as AutoCAD, Amtech (or similar)
