Overview: I am currently working with a fast-growing clean-tech business delivering innovative low-carbon energy solutions across commercial and industrial projects. They are scaling their engineering team and seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in project delivery.

The Role:

  • Lead electrical & controls design from concept through to construction (RIBA 4)
  • Produce SLDs, wiring schematics, load schedules, and cable sizing
  • Design systems integrating renewables, HVAC, and energy technologies
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners
  • Support junior engineers and contribute to design best practice
  • Engage with clients and support project delivery through to commissioning

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in EC&I design
  • Strong knowledge of LV systems / BS 7671 (18th Edition)
  • Experience with BMS / PLC / SCADA systems
  • Background in building services, HVAC, or industrial environments
  • Proficient with tools such as AutoCAD, Amtech (or similar)
