Commodity Trader Internship - base in London

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join us as a Commodity Trader Intern for our London office. This internship program will run for 3 to 6 months and offers hands-on exposure to the world of physical and paper trading. Interns will have the opportunity to gain invaluable industry experience, develop essential trading skills, and work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding interns may be considered for a full-time trading position in London upon successful completion of the internship. Salary: • Internship: £5,000 per month • Full-time position (post-internship): £7,000 per month, and year-end bonus based on performance. Responsibilities: • Curate and maintain an extensive database of information relevant to assigned commodities. • Conduct in-depth research and analysis, preparing insightful reports on market trends and developments. • Cultivate and expand upstream and downstream resources, establishing robust procurement and sales channels. • Develop and implement innovative commodity futures and financial derivatives hedging strategies, overseeing position management. • Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks as required, contributing to the dynamic nature of commodity trading. Requirements: • Students in their final year and recent graduates from esteemed institutions are strongly encouraged to apply, no experience required. • Fluent in English,and proficiency in French is considered a plus. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent language proficiency and communication abilities. • Demonstrated practicality, diligence, and a self-motivated approach to work.
