This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong Microsoft messaging expertise who enjoys working in a structured, highly regulated environment.
You'll take ownership of secure on-premise messaging platforms throughout their full lifecycle, from design and implementation through to ongoing support, optimisation and continuous improvement.
Working as part of a collaborative technical team, you'll also have the opportunity to broaden your expertise across a wider messaging capability, making this role particularly well suited to candidates from defence, military or other secure communications backgrounds.
What you'll be doing Designing, building, configuring and deploying secure on-premise messaging and collaboration platforms.
Managing and supporting critical messaging infrastructure, ensuring high availability, resilience and performance.
Troubleshooting complex technical issues across messaging and infrastructure technologies.
Leading or contributing to technical project delivery within a structured governance framework.
Driving service improvements, operational efficiency and platform optimisation.
Supporting knowledge sharing and mentoring across the wider messaging team.
What we're looking for Active e DV clearance (essential).
Strong experience administering Microsoft Exchange On-Premise environments.
Hands-on experience with Share Point Server Subscription Edition (SPSE) .
Experience supporting Skype for Business within enterprise environments.
Strong infrastructure knowledge, including administration, troubleshooting, clustering and hardware evaluation.
Experience working within highly governed environments with strict service level agreements.
Desirable experience Experience with X.400 messaging , particularly within military or highly secure environments.
Microsoft certifications (or equivalent) across messaging or infrastructure technologies.
Strong technical documentation skills, including operational procedures and user guidance.
