Our Performers and Attendants each earn between £25 and £75 per performing hour (depending on the event requirements), making us one of the highest paying character-entertainment companies in the country.<br>Specialised Training & Development<br>We provide professional Character Performer training for our Cast Members – ensuring you are prepared to best represent yourself and our company. Additionally, we continue that education throughout your journey by offering specialized skill training courses, peer mentorship, and performance feedback. Our training is based on the leading companies in Character Entertainment, as well as our own magical Pixie Dust Parties flare. You will learn how to embody a character, create a magical moment, and pose for picture-perfect photographs to an incredibly high standard, all while having a blast.<br>Flexible Scheduling<br>Cast Members accept performing opportunities on an event-by-event basis; meaning there are no hour requirements or obligations. Cast Members list their availability and are booked based on their responses. Most Cast Members accept 2-3 events a month – although many choose to work far more or less, depending on their schedules.<br>Requirements & Next Steps<br>Character Performer Application<br>Our Character Performers are more than just party princesses. They are highly trained magic makers who bring our favourite characters to life. To a child, you are the character you are portraying, and our performers keep that belief alive. Their day to day duties include:<br>> Portraying specific costumed character roles<br>> Signing autographs and posing for photographs<br>> Interacting with guests<br>> Running games and activities where the event requires<br>> Maintaining show quality and character integrity (you’ll learn what this means in training!)<br>> Performing for audiences, such as storytimes or singing specific character songs<br>No two events are the same, which makes this role so exciting! You could be playing a princess at a party one day, running games and telling stories, and the next you’re at a busy shopping centre posing for photos and signing autographs.<br>Pixie Dust Parties Character Performers must be 18-years-of-age (or older) with reliable transportation, and a clean criminal background. All applicants should be willing to or have already had an enhanced DBS check. Experience working with children, customer service, or in the performing arts / theatre is preferred. We are proud to have opportunities on our team for performers of all ages, heights, body-types, and ethnicities.<br>Singing ability is not required but will definitely get you ahead in the game, as we love our princess performers to be able to sing their own songs as opposed to lip-syncing where possible.<br>Applicants who live within 20 miles of our base in Bath are preferred – although we do compensate for travel for performers who are located outside of that 20 mile radius.<br>Ready to join the magic?
