A leading aerospace & advanced manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Deputy Quality Manager to help drive the next phase of quality improvement and operational excellence across their Cambridgeshire facility. This is a succession-focused hire, ideal for someone looking to step into a future Quality Manager position within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
You'll work closely with senior leadership across Quality and Operations, leading audits, compliance, root cause investigations, team development and continuous improvement activities.
Responsibilities include:- Supporting AS9100 & NADCAP compliance activities
- Leading internal & external audits
- Managing non-conformance investigations & RCCA activities
- Supporting customer & supplier quality reviews
- Driving continuous improvement projects across manufacturing
- Managing and developing Quality Engineers & Technicians
- Supporting QMS improvement activities
- Acting as deputy for the Quality Manager when required
- Aerospace, composites, automotive or advanced manufacturing
- AS9100 / regulated manufacturing quality systems
- Team leadership or Quality management responsibility
- Auditing, RCCA & continuous improvement activities
- Supplier, customer or production quality environments
- Highly regulated manufacturing sectors
- Clear pathway toward Quality Manager level
- Growing, high-performing manufacturing environment
