Contract Business Analyst Business Analyst x2 – Digital Transformation – Retail Location: Southampton (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite per week) Duration: Initial 6 months (with potential extensions) Rate: up to £525 p/d Umbrella Our client is undergoing a major digital transformation and currently seeking two experienced Contract Business Analysts to support two critical initiatives within their digital portfolio. Projects: Single Sign-On (SSO) Enablement: Help deliver a seamless customer experience by enabling unified login credentials across pre-booking and post-booking digital channels. A key enabler for personalisation and operational efficiency. Payments Platform with Promotions Capability: Support the implementation of a modern payments platform that will enable dynamic pricing and personalised promotions for customers, drawing on retail-style “pricing and promotions” strategies to drive spend and commercial uplift. Required skills: 5 years of Business Analysis experience, ideally in large, complex organisations. Minimum 18 months of prior contracting history (with demonstrated renewals). Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence at a senior level. Experience delivering both small-scale and enterprise-wide digital initiatives. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. Confident working across global teams, including offshore stakeholders. Proficient in standard BA tools, techniques, and documentation. Proven critical thinking, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills. Comfortable working on product and technology change in digital environments. Experience supporting platform implementations or customer experience transformations. Understanding of digital customer journeys and platform integrations.
