Responsibilities
- Integration testing of ATA28 & ATA32 systems as part of a dedicated team, on site in Filton, Bristol.
- Support to the test framework (Test Management System – TMS project).
- Update the existing architecture according to the new requirements.
- Test Prep execution and technical reporting.
- Data analysis.
- Perform testing on developed software modules.
- Configuration Management.
- Product Release Management.
- Support to TMS customers with the issues on the test rigs.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in systems integration and test engineering, ideally within the aerospace, aviation, or safety‐critical engineering environment.
- Proven experience supporting and executing integration testing activities, including test preparation, execution, and technical reporting.
- Practical understanding of aircraft systems, preferably ATA28 (Fuel) and/or ATA32 (Landing Gear), or comparable complex embedded systems.
- Hands‐on experience with test frameworks and Test Management Systems (TMS), including issue investigation and customer support on test rigs.
- Strong capability in scripting and test automation to support efficient and repeatable testing.
- Experience performing data analysis to validate system and software behaviour.
- Exposure to software module testing, configuration management, and product/software release processes.
- Ability to update and maintain test and system architectures in line with evolving requirements.
- Collaborative team player with experience working on onsite customer projects and within multi‐disciplinary engineering teams.
Desirable (not essential): familiarity with TCL and/or MATLAB.
Required Skills
- Scripting and automation skills.
- An understanding / previous knowledge of aircraft systems (preferably in ATA28 / ATA32 but not essential).
- At least 3 years' experience conducting systems integration & testing projects. Ideally in the aerospace sector.
Nice to have but not essential: TCL, MatLab.
