Duties of a Maintenance Supervisor
As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be required to support the maintenance team ensuring that PMs are undertaken to schedule whilst also managing breakdown situations, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a manufacturing, process or production environment.
Requirements of a Maintenance Supervisor
- Solid experience in planned and reactive maintenance within manufacturing, production, or process industries
- Proven background as a Maintenance Supervisor / Team Leader (or strong step-up potential if you've deputised previously)
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills (electrical or mechanical bias)
- Confident managing contractors and using permit to work / LOTO systems
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or above) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Apprenticeship background highly desirable
The Maintenance Supervisor role is easily commutable from Erdington, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Coventry, Birmingham & Solihull.
