Apply today to work as a Production Technician for our client, which manufactures and produces health and beauty products. Staffline is recruiting Production Technicians in Alton. The rate of pay is from £15.26 per hour. Overtime is available and is paid from £22.89 per hour. This is a full-time role working a rotating 2-week shift pattern, with every second weekend off.

Shift pattern:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Hours: 10pm - 10am (12-hour shifts)

Your Time at Work

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and operating production lines in line with product specifications
  • Leading and supporting a production line team to achieve output targets
  • Monitoring line performance and reporting any issues or downtime
  • Carrying out basic machine adjustments and identifying faults
  • Escalating engineering or operational issues to the relevant teams
  • Working closely with Production, Warehouse, and Engineering teams
  • Completing production documentation, including work orders and set-up records
  • Maintaining product quality standards and reporting any defects
  • Keeping work areas clean and compliant with operational standards

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, requiring strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to respond quickly to changing demands.

Experience working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment (desirable but not essential)

Basic mechanical aptitude and confidence working with production machinery

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
