Are you an experienced Primary Teacher with experience across all year groups? We are currently recruiting on behalf of schools across Aberdare for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to support in Progresson Step 1 and 3.

Academics is a well-established education recruitment agency specialising in day-to-day supply, short-term, and long-term teaching placements. We work with a wide range of primary schools across RCT and have consistent demand throughout the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Teacher who is confident delivering the new curriculum for Wales across numerous year groups and is looking for flexible or ongoing work in local schools.

Role Overview:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the new curriculum for Wales
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Two recent professional teaching references

Pay: £175 per day (with potential for increases depending on experience and client school rates)
